Obtaining American Citizenship through Naturalization
The Woodlands Immigration Attorney assists permanent residents become U.S. Citizens through naturalization. A permanent resident qualifies for citizenship through naturalization after being a permanent resident for 5 years. However, if a permanent resident has also been married to U.S. Citizen for the last 3 years and has been residing (and is still residing with the USC spouse) for the last 3 years, he/she may apply to become an american citizen after 3 years as long as he/she can prove co-habitation with the USC spouse for the last 3 years.
